My Week in LOTRO :: May 9th

Monday eve, Ales & Tales visited Frothies at 3 Myrtle Court in the Shire neighborhood of Dampdale! The wonderful Dodricson was our host. It was such a beautiful location and the yard was set up with overflowing tables, all nestled in a field of purple wildflowers.

While we were having a bit of an out-of-game-experience Monday afternoon, I penned this little ditty for everyone’s favorite Mama Hen, Miss Rozalinde! Folks at Ales & Tales seemed to enjoy it, so I’m sharing it with you as well. If you wonder why she is referred to as Mama Hen, please take a peek at her Mother Hen’s Chicken Guide guest post over on TweakLOTRO! Miss Rozalinde is all kinds of awesome =)

//Free Range (to the tune of Don’t Leave Me by Blink 182)

Don’t leave us all alone
We’re so far away from home
Try to fly, we flap our wings
Just need to /follow Mama Rozalinde!

And she said just meet me at Wald Sandson’s coop
And she said “Crosser of Roads” is just a five hour loop
We said, “Don’t let our little chicken feet get lost on the way.”
She said, “”Ready, set, we’re goin’ Free Range!””

Bob and weave, don’t get paranoid
She’ll keep us safe, avoid stealth wargs
Watch out ahead, for the turtle den
Listen dears, to your Mama Hen!

And she said just meet me at Wald Sandson’s coop
And she said “Crosser of Roads” is just a five hour loop
We said, “Don’t let our little chicken feet get lost on the way.”
She said, “”Ready, set, we’re goin’ Free Range!””

Let’s try this one more time with Fleetness
One more time with Fleetness
One more time with Fleetness
One more time with Fleetness

And she said just meet me at Wald Sandson’s coop
And she said “Crosser of Roads” is just a five hour loop
We said, “Don’t let our little chicken feet get lost on the way.”
She said, “Ready, set, we’re goin’ Free Range!”

Rozalinde, she’s a pro
Got us all to our homes
And we’re just fine!

Avlina had the most playtime this week. After Monday’s update, Lhinnthel just logged in to stare wearily at her Legendary Items and wonder whether she wanted to imbue them or not. Then, she went and curled up in the corner and stuck her fingers in her ears and started humming to herself.

So, I left her alone to ponder the changes while Avlina charged her way through Moria.

Avlina on the other hand had a fabulous week! She is just a few thousand XP away from reaching level 60 and she also adopted a beautiful spotted sabre-cat named Chia. Oh, they have had such a time prowling about in that cavernous mountain!

After falling down a very deep well, they spent a few days exploring the Water-Works (one of my favorite Moria areas). Somehow the nasty looking Globsnagas reminded her of strawberry jam, which led to some unusual kinchat conversations *laughs*.

That and all the toad licking…. Err, nevermind.

She also (in random order) pounded on Mazog’s fortress door, slayed a rather irate Watcher in the Water, visited the Bridge of Khazad-dûm in both it’s broken and whole states (gorgeous view from the edge!), picked up goat droppings –gross, learned the Sic ‘Em skill and finally escaped from Moria via the First Hall, only to be told she must return. /sigh.
