Lhinnthel was lucky enough to join a friend in exploring the Mirror-Halls of Lumul-nar, this afternoon! We traveled deeper and deeper into the cavern depths, defeating bats, wargs and Morroval along the way. While her friend puzzled out the levers and mirrors, Lhinnthel had fun tumbling off of the pathways. (why are there no guard rails!?)
I was out exploring last evening when I came across a treasure cache on the cliff overlooking Dol Amroth. After rummaging through the treasure, I turned around to see a beautiful vista spread out below.
The view from the island of Tol Fennas, located in Western Gondor off the coast of Dol Amroth, is simply breathtaking.
From all sides of the island, you’ll find a lovely vista with gorgeous blue sea water, ships and puffy white clouds, as well as a rich variety of local flora and fauna. It’s hard not to stop and gaze across the ocean ~ dreaming of sailing into the beyond.
The lights of Caras Galadhon are spectacular in the evening.
Climb the tallest Flet at gloaming and be awed as the golden glow of the mallorn trees are strung with lights against the pale violet sky.
Once Lhinthel was able to travel into Western Gondor, the Beacons were the first thing her eyes searched the skies for. They did not disappoint! Watching the smoke rise from the Warning Beacons, all throughout the land is a moving experience. The Beacons seen from the Havens of Belfalas are especially beautiful.
